PM Should Order Central ED Probe into Suleman Land Grab in Goa: Girish Chodankar
Panjim: AICC CWC permanent invitee and Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry in-charge, Girish Chodankar, has demanded an urgent Central Enforcement Directorate (ED) probe into the massive land grab involving Suleman Khan and top BJP leaders in Goa. He alleged that 17 illegal land grab cases are linked to powerful BJP leaders, exposing large-scale corruption within the state government.
Chodankar dismissed the ongoing SIT investigation by the Goa BJP government as a sham designed to shield the real culprits. He stated that Suleman Khan, the prime accused, possesses crucial information about top BJP leaders involved in the scam, yet the state government has failed to act transparently.
BJP’s Silence on 17 Land Grabs Questioned
Chodankar questioned why the BJP government has remained silent on the 17 illegal land grab cases involving its leaders. He accused the ruling party of betraying the people of Goa, stating, “We will not allow BJP leaders to loot Goa’s land while the government turns a blind eye.”
He also took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s anti-corruption slogan, “Na khaunga, na khane dunga”, calling it a political gimmick. He challenged the PM to prove his commitment by ordering an immediate ED probe, saying, “If Modi is serious about fighting corruption, he must act now. A state-level inquiry is meaningless as the BJP government itself is complicit.”
Congress Demands Transparency & Strict Action
The Congress party has demanded that:
✅ A Central ED probe be launched immediately.
✅ The list of over 17 illegal land grabs involving BJP leaders be made public.
✅ Strict legal action be taken against all those involved, regardless of their political affiliation.
Chodankar further warned, “We dare @PMOIndia to act! If Modi’s government fails to initiate an independent probe, it will prove that his anti-corruption claims are hollow.”
The Congress party vowed to continue exposing this massive scam and fight for justice for the people of Goa.
