Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Announces Key Block-Level Appointments to Strengthen Grassroots Organization

Panaji, April 26, 2025:
In a major move aimed at reinforcing the party’s presence at the grassroots level, the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) under the leadership of President Amit S. Patkar announced a fresh round of appointments across key blocks in South Goa.

The following appointments have been made with immediate effect:

• Mormugao Block: Sahish Amerkar
• Vasco Block: Siddesh Kalangutkar
• Fatorda Block: Constantino Faleiro
• Curchorem Block: George Dsouza
• Sanvordem Block: Sanket Bhandari

Additionally, Constituency Convenors have been appointed to bolster organizational activities in two key constituencies:

• Margao: Shri Savio Couthino
• Sanguem: Shri Jitendra Naik

These newly appointed Block Presidents and Convenors have been tasked with strengthening the Congress Party’s outreach in their respective areas. Their responsibilities include mobilizing community support, coordinating with booth-level workers, executing party programs, maintaining discipline according to the party constitution, and ensuring regular communication with the District Congress Committee.

The appointments, approved by the South Goa District Congress Committee President, aim to infuse fresh energy and commitment within the ranks, ensuring a more robust and people-centric approach leading up to future political challenges.
