Panaji, Goa – Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired a crucial meeting with Heads of Departments (HODs) and Taluka Nodal Officers to review the progress of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa initiative. The meeting also addressed key issues concerning the Swayampurna Portal and emphasized its effective utilization by Taluka Nodal Officers for better implementation of welfare schemes.
Swayampurna Goa Positively Impacts Over 3.2 Lakh People
The initiative has successfully touched the lives of more than 3.2 lakh individuals across Goa, significantly contributing to their social and economic upliftment. The government remains committed to further strengthening the scheme and expanding its reach.
Health & FDA Camps at Village Panchayat Level
To enhance public welfare, Health and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) camps have already been launched at the Village Panchayat level. In addition, several other government departments are planning statewide workshop tours to ensure seamless service delivery. Similar camps will soon be organized across various panchayats, with detailed schedules to be announced shortly.
Focus on Entrepreneurship & Skill Development
A major highlight of the Swayampurna Goa initiative is its emphasis on entrepreneurship and skill development, aiming to empower individuals to become self-reliant and financially independent. The government is actively working on promoting these programs to boost employment opportunities across Goa.
The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to making Goa self-sufficient through this initiative and urged all departments to work towards its effective implementation.
