The fallen Agniveers have been identified as Gunner Gohil Vishvarajsinh from Rajkot, Gujarat, and Gunner Saikat from West Bengal. Both soldiers were serving under the Indian Army’s Agniveer recruitment scheme, which brings in young personnel to serve the nation.
The Indian Army released a statement expressing its deep sorrow, extending heartfelt condolences to the families of the two soldiers. “The Indian Army firmly stands with the bereaved families in this hour of grief,” the statement read, acknowledging the dedication and sacrifice of the fallen soldiers.
