Baina Beach Water Sports Association Launched a Website.Mogachya Bayna website and beach cleaning campaign was launched by the ‘Baina Beach Water Sports Association’ at Vasco. The above activity has been undertaken to bring Baina beach to the national and international level in terms of tourism. On the occasion of the inauguration of Mogachya Baina website, President of the organization and former MLA Carlos Almeida Vasco Constituency, Former Revenue Minister and President of All Goa Fishermen Owners Association Juze Philip D’Souza, Chairperson of Mormugao Municipal Council Girish Borkar, Sarpanch of Chicolana Bogmalo Sankalp Mahale, Officials of State Tourism Department, Officials of Goa Port Captain , Drishti and officers of other organizations were present.
The Baina beach that Mormugao and Vasco area has got is eager to get a new boost in the coming tourism season. Baina Beach Water Sports Association President and former Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida has taken the initiative to promote Baina beach in the tourism sector. In this he will benefit from the participation of State Tourism Department, Goa Port Captain, Drishti, Aquagen, Resurge Marine Educational Institute, Terra Concus. On this occasion, Baina Beach Water Sports Association completed the launch ceremony of Mogachya Baina website. Also, a public awareness sound tape was shown on how to clean and maintain Baina beach and sea.
The program was held in the Vasco Baina Ravindra Bhavan mini hall. On this occasion, former Minister Juze Philip D’Souza, Chairperson of Mormugao Municipal Council Girish Borkar and others expressed their views. Technical Superintendent Arjun Phadte, Director of Goa Tourism Department Dhiraj Wagle and other officials were present. Also Desterro Fishermen Association, Kate Baina, & all fishermen brothers were present in large numbers. Shalaka Kambli moderated the program and Risha Kamurlekar welcomed everyone and Sankalp Mahale gave a vote of thanks.
