The German-owned vessel, measuring approximately 99 meters in length, is powered by a cutting-edge Direct Current (DC) Electric Motor, marking a significant leap towards sustainable maritime transportation.
The vessel, built by Goa-based Chougle Shipyard, exemplifies India’s growing prowess in advanced shipbuilding technologies. As a hybrid vessel, it combines traditional diesel engines with electric propulsion systems, reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
