The Services Sports Control Board (SSCB) reaffirmed its supremacy at the 38th National Games in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, clinching the top spot on the medal tally with an impressive 121 medals—68 Gold, 26 Silver, and 27 Bronze.
Maharashtra Bags Most Medals, Haryana Strong in Gold
While Maharashtra finished with the highest total medal count (198), their 55 golds placed them second. Haryana, a powerhouse of Indian sports, closely followed in third place with 48 gold medals.
Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh completed the top five, highlighting their rising dominance in Indian sports.

🔹 Meghalaya to Host the 39th National Games in 2027!
Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President PT Usha has informed Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma that Meghalaya will host the 39th National Games in February/March 2027. As the next host, Meghalaya will be handed the IOA flag during today’s Closing Ceremony in Haldwani.
