#ScheduleAnnounced: India’s White-Ball Tour of Bangladesh to Begin on August 17
Dhaka, April 16, 2025 — The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially announced the schedule for India’s upcoming white-ball tour, comprising three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), set to begin on 17 August 2025.
Team India will arrive in Dhaka on 13 August to kickstart the highly anticipated tour. The tour will commence with the ODI leg, with the first two ODIs slated to be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on 17 and 20 August, respectively. The third and final ODI will shift to Chattogram on 23 August.
Chattogram will also serve as the venue for the opening T20I on 26 August, before the action returns to Mirpur for the second and third T20Is, scheduled for 29 and 31 August.
Notably, this series will mark the first time Bangladesh hosts India in a bilateral T20I series at home — a historic moment for both cricketing nations.
The two teams have built a competitive rivalry over the years. Their last T20I series clash came in 2024, when India hosted Bangladesh and secured a 3-0 sweep. In their most recent ODI series encounter in 2022, India toured Bangladesh and suffered a 2-1 defeat.
