New Delhi, January 29, 2025 – The grand Republic Day Parade 2025, held at Kartavya Path, showcased India’s military prowess, cultural diversity, and artistic excellence. After a meticulous evaluation by three expert panels, the best marching contingents and tableaux of the event have been officially announced.
Best Marching Contingents
The parade featured impressive displays of discipline and coordination by various military and paramilitary forces. The top awards in the marching contingents category are:
Services Category: Jammu & Kashmir Rifles – The regiment’s impeccable drill and patriotic spirit earned them the prestigious title.
CAPFs & Other Forces: Delhi Police – Their synchronized marching and commanding presence stood out among all paramilitary forces.
Best Tableaux (States & Union Territories)
State tableaux are a major highlight of the Republic Day parade, showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage and progress. This year’s winners are:1st Place: Uttar Pradesh – The tableau depicted the state’s historical and spiritual legacy, mesmerizing the audience.

Best Tableau (Central Ministries)
Ministry of Tribal Affairs – The ministry’s tableau beautifully showcased India’s tribal heritage, traditions, and government initiatives for tribal welfare.
Special Prizes
Two special recognitions were also announced:
Central Public Works Department (CPWD) – Their tableau, known for its artistic grandeur and innovative design, received accolades.
‘Jayati Jai Mamah Bharatam’ Dance Group – This group’s energetic and culturally rich performance captivated the audience.
