Rajasthan’s Mahesh Kumar Tops NEET UG 2025 with 686 Marks; NTA Declares Results
Hanumangarh/Sikar, June 14:
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025, bringing joy to lakhs of aspiring medical students across India. In a proud moment for Rajasthan, Mahesh Kumar from Hanumangarh has clinched the All India Rank 1, scoring an impressive 686 out of 720 marks.
Mahesh’s success story is a shining example of dedication and perseverance. A student at a reputed career institute in Sikar, Mahesh had been preparing diligently for the past three years to crack one of the toughest entrance exams in the country. His relentless effort, combined with expert guidance from his mentors, helped him stand out among more than 20 lakh candidates who took the NEET UG exam on May 4, 2025.
Coming from a modest family background, Mahesh’s achievement is especially inspiring. His parents, both government employees, have supported his academic aspirations every step of the way. His journey reflects not just personal triumph but also highlights Sikar’s emergence as a premier coaching hub for medical and engineering aspirants.
The NEET UG 2025 result and final answer key are now available on the official NTA websites — neet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. Candidates can log in with their credentials to check their subject-wise scores, total marks, percentile rank, and qualifying status.
The NTA is also expected to release the cut-off scores for MBBS and BDS admissions shortly. For reference, the cut-off percentile in 2024 was 50 for general category and 40 for OBC, SC, and ST candidates. The 2025 cut-off will be based on the highest scores in the all-India merit list.
Students who have qualified in NEET UG 2025 will soon be able to participate in centralised counselling for admissions into MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical courses. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while individual states will manage their respective state-quota counselling.
All candidates are urged to download and secure their scorecards, which will be essential during the admission and counselling process. They should also frequently check the official NEET portals for counselling dates and further updates.
