Public Suggestions Invited for “Viksit Goa @2047” Vision Document – Deadline Extended to June 30, 2025
Panjim, 22nd May, 2025: The Directorate of Planning, Statistics & Evaluation has issued a press release inviting citizens of Goa to actively participate in shaping the state’s long-term development roadmap through the “Viksit Goa @2047” vision document.
This initiative, led by the Government of Goa, aims to strategize the state’s transformative journey to becoming a fully developed state by the year 2047. The vision document will encompass key sectors including infrastructure, education, healthcare, tourism, environment, industry, and governance.
On 9th April 2025, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant officially launched the QR Code at Mantralaya, Porvorim, Goa, enabling the general public to submit their suggestions, opinions, and innovative ideas directly to the government.
Recognizing the importance of citizen participation, the government has extended the deadline for submissions from the original date of 25th May 2025 to 30th June 2025. Citizens can access the QR code for submission on the official government portal https://goaonline.gov.in.
The Directorate has emphasized that every suggestion counts and will play a crucial role in designing initiatives, policies, and programs that reflect the aspirations of Goans.
