PM Modi’s Defiant Message from Adampur Air Base: “Bharat Mata Ki Jai is the Roar of a New India”
Adampur Air Base, Punjab May 13, 2025 — In a rousing and powerful address at the #AdampurAirbase, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the courage, precision, and determination of the Indian Armed Forces, declaring that India’s resolve against terrorism has never been clearer.
Speaking amid heightened patriotic fervor following the success of #OperationSindoor, PM Modi said, “‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ is the resolve of every soldier who is ready to sacrifice their life for the country. It is the voice of every citizen who wants to live for the country and do something for the country.”
The Prime Minister praised the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy for delivering crushing blows to terror networks across the border. He acknowledged that multiple attempts had been made by Pakistan to target Indian air bases, including Adampur, but all efforts were foiled with strength and strategic precision.
“Rattled with #OperationSindoor, the enemy tried to attack this air base and several of our other air bases multiple times,” PM Modi stated. “But the nefarious designs of Pakistan failed each time.”
PM Modi underscored the evolution of India’s national security doctrine. “India’s ‘Laxman Rekha’ against terrorism is crystal clear now,” he declared. “If another terror attack occurs, India will give a reply — a solid reply. We saw this during the surgical strike, the air strike, and now, with Operation Sindoor — this is India’s new normal.”
The speech resonated with powerful metaphors that captured the might of Indian defence capabilities. “When our drones destroy the walls of the enemy’s fort, when our missiles reach the target with a whizzing sound, the enemy hears ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. When we light up the sun even at night, the enemy sees ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. When our armies blow away the threat of nuclear blackmail, then only one thing resonates from the sky—‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’.”
Sending a direct message to terror sponsors, PM Modi affirmed, “There is no such place in Pakistan where terrorists can sit and breathe in peace now.”
Closing on an emotional and inspiring note, he said, “You have made millions of Indians proud, made every Indian mother proud. You have created history, and I have come among you this morning to see you.”
