PM Modi Visits AFS Adampur, Lauds Armed Forces for Bravery and Dedication

Adampur, Punjab – May 13:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Adampur Air Base in Punjab this morning, where he interacted with the brave air warriors and soldiers stationed at the base. The visit was aimed at boosting the morale of the armed forces and acknowledging their critical role in safeguarding the nation.

During his interaction, Prime Minister Modi lauded the courage and valour of the personnel, praising their relentless dedication to duty. In a heartfelt social media post, he shared that it was a “very special experience” to be with those who “epitomise courage, determination and fearlessness.” He further emphasized that “India is eternally grateful to the armed forces for everything they do for the nation.”

The Prime Minister’s visit comes in the wake of the recently concluded Operation Sindoor, a high-precision military operation launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. As part of this operation, India successfully destroyed multiple terror camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), eliminating over 100 terrorists.

In his address to the nation yesterday, Prime Minister Modi reaffirmed India’s firm stance against terrorism. He made it clear that any attack on Indian soil would be met with a “strong and resolute response,” and declared that India will not be intimidated by nuclear threats. His statement sent a strong message to adversaries that India remains unwavering in its commitment to national security and counterterrorism.

The visit to AFS Adampur highlighted the nation’s solidarity with its armed forces and reiterated the government’s resolve to stand by its defense personnel at all times.
