Paresh Rawal claims he ‘sipped his urine like beer’ to recover from an injury, gets roasted by the internet

In a revelation that has stunned fans and the entertainment world alike, veteran actor Paresh Rawal recently confessed to an unusual recovery method — drinking his own urine. The actor, known for his impeccable comic timing and intense performances, shared his story during a candid conversation with The Lallantop.

Recalling his time at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital in Mumbai, Paresh revealed that legendary action director Veeru Devgan had visited him after a serious knee injury. “When he got to know about my injury, he advised me to drink my own urine first thing in the morning. He said all fighters do this and that I would never face any problem,” Paresh said. Devgan also advised him to avoid alcohol, tobacco, and mutton, and stick to simple food.

Taking the advice seriously, Paresh explained, “I decided if I have to do it, I’ll sip it slowly like beer. I did it religiously for 15 days.” He added that his recovery was so rapid that doctors were left baffled. “The doctor saw a white line forming on the X-ray, indicating healing. I was supposed to be discharged in two to two-and-a-half months, but I left the hospital in just one-and-a-half months. It was like magic.”
