Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar Urges Constituents to Join ‘Bhavya Shivyatra’ on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti

Mormugao MLA Shri Sankalp Amonkar has called upon residents of his constituency to participate in the grand ‘Bhavya Shivyatra’ organized by the Shree Hindu Raashtra Utsav Samiti, Murgao, on the auspicious occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti. The event, scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, 2025, promises to be a vibrant celebration of the life and legacy of the great Maratha warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The padyatra will commence at 2:00 PM sharp from the historic Mormugao Fort, near the MPA Head Office at Headland Sada, and conclude at the Kalawati Temple Ground. The procession will be a tribute to the valor, vision, and leadership of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who remains a national hero and an enduring symbol of courage and unity.
The event will feature a keynote address by Shri Ajay Damodar Telang, a renowned speaker from Sangli, Maharashtra, who will enlighten the gathering on the life and achievements of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The celebration aims to inspire the younger generation with the ideals of bravery, justice, and good governance embodied by the great king.
In his appeal to the residents, MLA Sankalp Amonkar said, “Dear Murgaonkars, I urge you all to join the ‘Bhavya Shivyatra’ along with your family members, friends, and neighbors in large numbers.
