Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar Facilitates Aadhaar Camp for Citizens’ Convenience

Mormugao, Goa – May 17, 2025: In a major citizen-centric initiative, Sankalp P. Amonkar, MLA of Mormugao Constituency, has facilitated a special Aadhaar Facilitation Camp in coordination with the Directorate of Planning, Statistics & Evaluation, Government of Goa. The camp will run from May 19 to June 6, 2025, offering services like New Enrollment, Correction, and Updation of Aadhaar across key locations in the constituency.

This development coincides with a major national milestone — UIDAI has achieved over 150 billion Aadhaar authentications in the , reflecting Aadhaar’s deep integration into India’s governance and digital economy. The Ministry of Electronics and IT announced that this cumulative number was reached by April 2025, marking a significant achievement since the inception of Aadhaar.
