Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Minority Department Strongly Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack

The Minority Department of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC), has issued a strong and unequivocal condemnation of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam that targeted innocent civilians and tourists.
In an official statement released by Niazi Shaikh, Chairman of the Minority Department, the GPCC described the attack as a “heinous and barbaric act of violence” that is a direct assault on humanity, peace, and the core values that bind Indian society together.
“The Minority Department of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee unequivocally condemns the heinous terrorist attack at Pahalgam, which targeted innocent civilians and tourists. Such barbaric acts of violence are a direct assault on humanity, peace, and the values that unite us as a society,” the statement said.
The department extended its deepest condolences and prayers to the victims, their families, and all those affected by the tragedy. Emphasizing the sanctity of human life, the statement added, “No ideology can justify the senseless killing of innocent lives. This cowardly act stands in stark contradiction to the true teachings of Islam, which emphasize peace, compassion, empathy, mercy, and love for all of humanity.”
In a call to action, the GPCC Minority Department urged all citizens of India to come together in solidarity. “We earnestly urge the citizens of India to stand united, strengthen communal harmony, and work collectively towards the eradication of terrorism in all its forms. Let us reaffirm our unwavering commitment to peace, justice, and compassion,” said Chairman Niazi Shaikh.
The statement concluded with a strong demand for justice and global accountability: “It is imperative that the perpetrators of such heinous crimes are brought to justice swiftly, and that no sanctuary or sympathy is afforded to terrorism, anywhere in the world.”
