Goa Board to Declare HSSC Exam Results on March 27, 2025
Porvorim, March 25, 2025: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced that the results of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Public Examination, held in February-March 2025, will be declared on March 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The declaration will take place at the Conference Hall on the second floor of the Board’s office in Porvorim.
Key Details of the HSSC Examination 2025:
- The exams were conducted between February 10, 2025, and March 1, 2025, across 20 examination centers in Goa.
- A total of 17,686 students from the Regular Category appeared for the exams, including:
- Arts: 4,068 students
- Commerce: 5,085 students
- Science: 6,086 students
- Vocational: 2,447 students
- In addition, candidates from other categories also appeared, including Private Candidates (138), NSQF Subject Candidates (1,063), ITI Candidates (47), and CWSN Candidates (202).

Additionally, the consolidated result sheet can be downloaded from the school login portal (https://service1.gbshse.in) from March 29, 2025 onwards.
Marksheet Distribution:
- The date for the collection of marksheets will be announced soon.
- Schools will collect marksheets through an authorized representative from the IT section of the Board’s office. Parents and students will not be allowed to collect marksheets individually.
Comparison with Last Year:
In the HSSC 2024 exams, a total of 17,511 students appeared, and 14,884 students passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 85%. This year’s performance will be closely observed in comparison.
School heads have been advised to take note of these details and ensure a smooth result declaration process.
