According to Sacnilk reports, Chhaava collected ₹31 crore on its opening day, followed by an even stronger performance on Saturday with ₹36.5 crore. The film’s global collection has already touched ₹50 crore.

This period drama marks the biggest opener of Vicky Kaushal’s career, proving his growing box office appeal. Vicky portrays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife, Yesubai. Akshay Khanna takes on the role of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, with Diana Penty portraying his daughter. Vineet Kumar Singh essays the role of Kavi Kalash, a close friend of the Maharaj.

Massive Response in Pune and Mumbai

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava has witnessed its highest earnings in Pune and Mumbai, where audiences have shown immense love for the film. Given its impressive collections so far, trade analysts predict that Chhaava might surpass ₹100 crore on its third day itself.
