In a moment of immense national pride, India is gearing up for another giant leap in space exploration. Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla of the Indian Air Force will be flying to the International Space Station (ISS) next month as part of Axiom Spaceโs Ax-4 mission, making him one of the few Indians to reach outer space.
Announcing the milestone, Union Minister of State for Space and Atomic Energy, Dr. Jitendra Singh, confirmed that an International Space Mission carrying an Indian astronaut is scheduled for next month. The mission marks a historic collaboration between India and global space agencies, highlighting Indiaโs growing presence in the international space community.
ISRO Chairman Dr. V. Narayanan expressed pride in Indiaโs preparation for this major mission, stating that Group Captain Shukla is fully trained and ready to embark on this extraordinary journey.
This mission is another feather in the cap for Indiaโs space ambitions, further solidifying the countryโs reputation as a rising power in the global space race.
