Amit Shah Chairs 27th Western Zonal Council Meeting in Pune

Pune, 22nd February 2025 – Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah chaired the 27th meeting of the Western Zonal Council of the Ministry of Home Affairs in Pune today. The meeting was attended by Chief Ministers, senior ministers, administrators, and top officials from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, and the Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.

Prominent leaders in attendance included Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Administrator Praful K. Patel, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, along with other ministers and senior officials.

Goa Showcases Waste Management Model

Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant highlighted the state’s successful Solid Waste Management model, emphasizing its positive impact and future roadmap. The model has gained recognition for its efficiency in waste segregation, recycling, and sustainability initiatives.
