Phoenix Mechano Announces ₹17,000 Salary Hike in Landmark Agreement
Bhare, Taluka Maval (Mulshi), January 28, 2025 – In a significant development, Phoenix Mechano India Limited, located in the Pirangut Industrial Estate, has finalized a landmark wage agreement that promises a salary increase of ₹17,000 for its employees. The agreement, spanning from 2024 to 2027, was signed under the aegis of the Bharatiya Kamgar Sena Union.
This marks the sixth successful wage agreement at the company, accomplished peacefully with efforts from both the management and union representatives. Shiv Sena leader and Bharatiya Kamgar Sena General Secretary, Dr. Raghunathji Kuchik, played a pivotal role, alongside Maharashtra Pradesh Committee member Umeshji Salunke, Maval Taluka organizer Sandesh Surve, and various union leaders, including Dhananjay Nagare (Bhare Plant President), Ganesh Ghotkule (Urshe Plant President), Rahul Wavle (Vice-President), and other committee members.
On the management’s side, key contributors included Managing Director Saurabhji Shukla, VP Vijay Joshi, HR Manager Ankita Joshi, Planning Manager Atul Deshpande, and HR Executive Umesh Barwakar.
The agreement, signed in the presence of Bharatiya Kamgar Sena President and Member of Parliament Arvind Sawant, and Working President Ajit Dada Salvi, also includes several additional benefits:
Medical Policy: A ₹10 lakh medical policy for 3 years.
Permanent Employment: 32 contractual employees will be made permanent based on seniority during the contract period.
Educational Assistance: Support for workers’ children’s education has been assured.
