Dadar, Mumbai: The nation came together to pay homage to the architect of the Indian Constitution, Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, on the occasion of Mahaparinirvana Day at Chityabhoomi, Dadar. The solemn event saw the participation of prominent leaders, including Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, who paid their respects to the towering leader.
This year’s observance included a Trisharan Buddhavandana ceremony, followed by dignitaries offering floral tributes to Babasaheb Ambedkar. A special highlight of the event was the showering of flowers from a helicopter over Chityabhoomi, symbolizing the collective reverence of millions.
Former MP Narendra Jadhav also marked the occasion by releasing his book, “Mahamanav Who Makes Indian Republic”, a tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy and vision.
